Peg Board
The Peg Board has been a cherished tradition at Darrow School since its founding in 1932. Its name pays homage to the iconic peg boards crafted by the Shakers. Originally, The Peg Board served as a yearbook, newspaper, and magazine, capturing the spirit of the school community. Today, it has evolved into Darrow's official alumni magazine, celebrating the vibrant life of our community by highlighting the achievements and stories of our alumni, faculty, and students.
Peg Board—Summer 2025
The Summer 2025 issue captures a school in motion—honoring heritage while shaping what’s next. Highlights include reflections from Head of School Andy Vadnais and Board Chair Van Selden, the launch of new programs in athletics, arts, and design, and the debut of the Shaker Museum Artist-in-Residence. Together, these stories show foreverDARROW in action—hands-to-work, hearts-to-home.
This special alumni edition was made possible with the incredible leadership of our editor-in-chief, Valle Dwight ‘75, whose vision and dedication made this Peg Board a reality. Thank you, Valle, for all that you do!
