Life @Darrowschool
Make this place your own
Life at Darrow is full of options, including where you call home. We offer five residence dorms, all an easy walk to everything you need on campus. Boarding at Darrow is designed to help you develop a sense of responsibility and self-sufficiency as you navigate the challenges presented by communal living experiences.
Each of our dorms fosters a sense of community, and at the center of that community—are dorm parents! From helping with homework, giving advice, or hosting movie nights, dorm parents are there to guide you every step of the way.
As a student, sharing a room with others is a valuable experience that many find rewarding. It may initially feel unfamiliar, but it can help connect with others and develop essential skills such as communication, meditation, and empathy. You will enjoy living in a nurturing, safe environment promoting personal success. But mostly, you'll love the friends you make and the experiences you share.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Each year, the Dean of Students' office appoints Resident Assistants (RAs) to each dorm. RAs are responsible for assisting dorm parents in managing the house and providing leadership for their fellow students.
(Did we mention? The position has leadership perks like special late-light privileges and fewer room inspections!)
Darrow is more than just a place; it's a community. A community of diverse individuals, bound by mutual respect and affection. A community that fosters inclusivity and support. Darrow is our collective sanctuary, a place we all call home. —Aarushi ‘24
