Bachelor of Arts, American International College (Basketball Scholarship) Brandon West serves as the AAA Basketball Coach and 9th-grade Historical Methods Teacher at Darrow, bringing a wealth of experience in player development, coaching, and mentorship. He joins Darrow for the 2024–2025 season, eager to contribute both on the court and in the classroom. Before joining Darrow, Coach West played a pivotal role in shaping several premier prep school basketball programs. He helped build the teams at Phillips Andover and Belmont Hill and led Beaver Country Day to an undefeated championship season in 2020. His ability to cultivate winning programs and develop high-caliber student-athletes has been a hallmark of his career. Brandon’s extensive professional experience includes working with USA Basketball and the NBA Global Games. Since 2017, he has been actively involved in NBA player development, further solidifying his reputation as an elite coach and mentor. His proven track record of preparing athletes for the next level has helped numerous players secure opportunities to play collegiate basketball at all levels. With his dynamic leadership, passion for the game, and dedication to student success, Coach West is committed to fostering excellence in both athletics and academics at Darrow.
