M.F.A.: Creative Writing (Non-Fiction), Sarah Lawrence College (2010) Steve Pause serves as an Academic Tutor, World Studies Teacher, Orton-Gillingham Tutor, Head House Parent, Softball Assistant Coach, and member of the Alpine Team at Darrow. Now entering their third year, Steve has embraced a multifaceted role within the Darrow community, seamlessly blending academics, athletics, and residential life to provide a well-rounded and supportive experience for students. Steve’s unique approach to teaching and mentoring is rooted in their philosophy of "vibes," which reflects their authentic, student-centered style. Whether in the classroom, on the slopes, or in the dorms, Steve brings a passion for fostering meaningful connections and inspiring growth in every aspect of student life. Their dedication to individualized instruction, creative thinking, and holistic development makes them an invaluable member of the Darrow faculty.
