B.S.: Psychology (Major) and Zoology (Minor) with an Emphasis in Human Anatomy and Physiology M.A.: Leadership, Guidance, and Counseling with an Emphasis in Adolescent Development and Educational Administration Vincent Schmidt serves as the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management at Darrow, where he has been making an impact since joining the school one year and two months ago. With nearly 30 years of experience in education, Vincent brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for helping families and students find their perfect educational fit. Vincent began his career as a counselor in therapeutic schools and programs, where he developed a strong foundation in supporting students’ diverse needs. In 2006, he transitioned into the field of Admissions and Marketing, where his clinical education and relational approach allowed him to connect with families and foster a deep understanding of their goals and aspirations. Prior to Darrow, Vincent served as the Associate Director of Admissions at a boarding school, working closely with college-bound students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). His work has been defined by a commitment to inclusivity, advocacy, and fostering meaningful relationships. Outside of his professional life, Vincent enjoys running, hiking, playing badminton, investing and trading, and exploring the fascinating world of numismatics. He shares his life with his partner, David, and their two lively cats, adding a personal touch to his warm and approachable nature. Vincent’s extensive experience, dedication, and relational philosophy make him a valuable leader in Darrow’s Admissions and Enrollment Management, helping students and families navigate their educational journeys with care and confidence. |
