B.A.: Hampshire College and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Maude Rich serves in her eighth year at Darrow, where she fulfills multiple roles as the Academic Coach for the Prep Basketball Program, Associate Director of Learning Skills, Hinckley Houseparent, Orton-Gillingham Instructor, SUPA Instructor/Adjunct Professor for Syracuse University, Advisor, and JSU Faculty Representative. Her versatility and dedication to the Darrow community are evident in the many hats she has worn over the years. Throughout her tenure, Maude has taught a diverse range of courses, including English, Astronomy, Psychology, French, and Technical Theater. Her broad teaching experience highlights her adaptability and commitment to enriching the academic lives of her students. Beyond her professional contributions, Maude has a deep personal connection to Darrow—one of her children taught at the school, while another graduated as a four-year senior. Maude’s passion for education, coupled with her expertise in curriculum design and instructional support, allows her to inspire and empower students across all facets of campus life. Whether in the classroom, as a mentor, or as a houseparent, she brings unwavering dedication to fostering growth, curiosity, and a love of learning within the Darrow community. |
