B.A., Smith College Nancy Dutton has dedicated 26 years to Darrow, serving as an English teacher, Diversity Co-Coordinator, and advisor. Over the course of her distinguished tenure, Nancy has taken on numerous leadership roles, including English Department Chair and Director of Maple Sugaring. Her contributions extend far beyond the classroom, as she has also served as a house parent, Administrator on Duty (AOD), Dean of Girls, tutor, alpine program leader, long-term French substitute, 9th Grade Team leader, and leader of both gourmet cooking and community service Spring Terms. Nancy’s enduring passion for teaching is evident in her unwavering enthusiasm for guiding her students and celebrating their progress. She takes immense pride in fostering a love of English and learning in her students while contributing to the vibrant and supportive Darrow community. Known for her belief that there are no better sunsets than those on the Darrow campus, Nancy’s connection to the school and its surroundings is deeply personal and inspiring. With her extensive experience, commitment to education, and multifaceted contributions to the school, Nancy continues to play an integral role in enriching the lives of Darrow students and faculty alike. |
