Tuck joined the Darrow School Board in March 2024 and became Treasurer in July of the same year. A proud member of the Class of 1972, Tuck has remained deeply connected to Darrow, serving as a Class Agent for 40 years. Professionally, Tuck is the Director of Development for the Elder Abuse Institute of Maine, where he also consults with small nonprofits on development strategies and relationship building. In addition, he works as a Community Support Specialist in the Greater Portland area, assisting seniors with transportation, errands, and companionship. Tuck holds a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University and a BA from Lake Forest College. With over 30 years of senior-level experience in major gift fundraising and nonprofit leadership, his work has spanned community service, education, health, microfinance, and conservation—most notably including 19 years with seven local United Ways. Throughout his career, Tuck has been dedicated to forging meaningful connections in the communities he serves, working to link people, ideas, and nonprofits in support of life-changing services and opportunities for children, families, and adults. He lives in Scarborough, Maine with his wife, Lucy Norvell.
