  • Hailing from the heart of the Poconos, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, I incorporates civic engagement in all my courses, promoting a deeper understanding of social history. My passions— travel, music, art, cooking, and sports (particularly tennis)—are parallel to my enthusiasm for progressive education, and my research and advocacy have focused on experiential and exploratory learning. I believe that finding moderation between the liberal arts, internship, volunteerism, and travel are crucial elements to 21st-century education. In addition to pursuing a doctorate in education through Drexel University, my elective course, Social Animals? The Rise and Fall of Community in the 21st Century was featured in Independent School magazine Fall 2017. This Fall, I'm presenting my wok on community and education at the International Association of Experiential Education and Gap Year Association Conference.
