PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Darrow Basketball provides a diverse range of teams for boys and girls of varying skill levels, with a strong emphasis on academic performance, college placement, and athletic development. Our program is designed to equip student-athletes with the skills and experience necessary to compete at the NCAA level, and our coaches work closely with them to identify the best college fit. The program is structured like a collegiate program, ensuring that student-athletes are well-prepared to take their game to the next level.

Boys AAA Basketball
Head Coach: Antonio Anderson
Originating from New England, Coach Antonio Anderson (2nd year) flourished in his college basketball career at the University of Memphis. Guided by the esteemed coach John Calipari, Anderson showcased his skills in 110 games for the Memphis Tigers during the school's most triumphant era, culminating in the 2008 NCAA Final Four appearance and National Championship game. Anderson's unique achievement of being the only player in Memphis history to record more than 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists, stands as a testament to his exceptional talent. After his graduation, Anderson embarked on a new chapter, transitioning from a player to a coach, a journey that has inspired many.
During his coaching career, Anderson has shown a talent for developing student-athletes and helping them secure spots at all three levels of college basketball. His widespread network of colleges and universities has led to 34 players earning college scholarships since 2016. This demonstrates his dedication to their success both on and off the court.
Girls aa Basketball
Head Coach: Abby Streeter
Streeter's academic journey earned both bachelor's and master's degrees, which equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the sport. She has sixteen years of basketball experience, including six college seasons as a Division One athlete and three years as a basketball trainer and coach. She brings her skills development, recruiting, and strategy expertise to lead and grow Darrow Girls Basketball.

Head Coach: Ray Pennucci
Coach Ray Pennucci (4th year) has over 20 years of NEPSAC experience as a coach and faculty member. He was a founding member of the Boy's Basketball Prep Program after a successful stint in the South Kent program in CT. Notably, during his time at South Kent, he played a pivotal role in mentoring multiple NBA and DI players, demonstrating his ability to develop talent. This conference is considered to be one of the top high school leagues in the country and consistently places players in Divisions I-III each year. Our program is designed to prepare student-athletes for the next level on the court and aiming to play at the NCAA level after their Darrow graduation.

The Boys AA team will play a competitive NEPSAC schedule that consists of approximately 25-30 games against teams from the Class AA, Class A, and Class B levels. Players on this team will receive high-quality instruction while they improve their skills before college.
